Memories of the city are seen through the eyes of pub-goer and Catalan actor Albert Salazar, who piles into a pub with friends to escape the rain. As he takes his first sip of Estrella Damm, his vivid recollections of the Mediterranean way of life in the city are brought to life through nostalgic scenes of the sea, days at the beach and long summer evenings outdoors with friends enjoying Estrella Damm.

The campaign’s inspirational film instantly transports viewers to Barcelona and to their own cherished holiday memories of the area, reactivating different senses and emotions. It shows how one sip of Estrella Damm can reconnect drinkers with the trips and experiences they treasure most.

The soundtrack is “Another Sunny Day” by Belle & Sebastian, chosen to complement the nostalgia for sun-drenched coastal days and reinforce Estrella Damm’s association with summer in Barcelona. The campaign positions the beer as a taste of summer, even in a grey UK setting.
