In celebration of World Tetris Day, the legendary puzzle game is taking to the skies with Red Bull Tetris®, a global tournament combining mobile gameplay and aerial innovation. Global qualifiers officially kicked off on June 6 and are now underway, inviting players aged 18 and up from around the world to compete. The most elite contenders will earn a spot at the World Final, taking place December 11–13, 2025, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates — where the final showdown will unfold in the sky via more than 2,000 synchronized drones forming the world’s first live playable Tetris game, staged at the iconic Dubai Frame.
With over 520 million copies sold, Tetris is a game that has united generations. Red Bull Tetris brings fresh energy and new dimensions to the classic, including fast-paced timed rounds, a special Golden Tetrimino, and gameplay-altering power-ups like gravity shifts and speed boosts — all designed to challenge players in unexpected ways.
Competitors can now join the qualifiers by playing on mobile at redbull.com/tetris. The highest scorers from each participating country will advance to in-person National Finals to face off 1v1 on PC. Those who triumph will go on to represent their nations at the World Final in Dubai. This multiplatform format is a true test of skill, adaptability, and consistency.

Winners of each National Final will head to Dubai this December for a three-day finale full of competition and culture, with immersive experiences, musical performances, and special guest appearances. Finalists will first compete in seeding rounds, followed by knockout 1v1 matches. On December 13, the epic final match will be played live in the sky, brought to life by a dazzling fleet of drones in one of the most spectacular gaming moments in history.
