OnePlus rolls out O+ Connect to OnePlus 13R, adding Mac integrations to OxygenOS

Global technology company OnePlus has recently rolled out support for O+ Connect in Europe for the OnePlus 13R, which allows users to more closely integrate their MacOS computer with their phone.

The feature, which will also be released for the OnePlus 13 in the coming months, allows for seamless and wireless network file transfers between your OnePlus device and MacOS computer, either through the O+ Connect app, or via a drag and drop interface in the file browser.

To connect to a compatible computer, simply visit connect.oneplus.com from your computer, while having the latest software version, 15.0.0.801(EX01), on your OnePlus 13R, and follow the instructions for file transfers.

A more open ecosystem

The launch of O+ Connect on OnePlus’ devices also adds support for the ability to share files between iOS and OnePlus devices using the O+ Connect app, available in the Apple App Store.

All of these features are part of a push from OnePlus to build an ecosystem that increasingly builds bridges to other devices, regardless of their brand. This expansion helps welcome more users into the OnePlus community, and lets their existing devices slot seamlessly into the OnePlus ecosystem.
